Rune's Mom's Chocolate Mousse

We always had this at New Year's or for special celebrations

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 c semi sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 shot rum or Grand Marnier
  • 1 1/2 c half and half
  • whipped cream

Cookware

  • blender

Steps

  1. In blender add semi sweet chocolate chips, eggs, rum or Grand Marnier, and scalded half and half.

  2. Blend until chips are melted and mixed well.

  3. Immediately pour into cups or wine glasses. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate.

  4. Chill overnight.

  5. Serve with whipped cream on top (can dust with cinnamon if desired)
